I'M A LIAR...

Yes, I am a liar.  I realize that I have lied to all of you.  I have stated for months now that all the proceeds from my book sales goes towards purchasing packaged socks and bottled water for the homeless.  The truth is, ten percent of the monies go towards purchasing more books to replenish my stock and the other ninety percent goes towards providing items for the homeless.
Oh, I feel so much better!

Gold there is, and rubies in abundance, but lips that speak knowledge are a rare jewel.
Proverbs 20:15

  1. Did you really lie to us, Toni?

Because if that ten percent earnings buys more books, which in turn provides for more packaged socks and bottled water... well, it's kind of perpetual, and the stream continuously flows toward the socks and water for the homeless.

That makes you an okay gal in my book!

    Blessings to you, friend!

  2. Aww Toni....I'm glad you feel better.

I get it, but I agree with Teric Darken.

May the Lord bless you richly for your ministry, and your book helps me remember the homeless and pray for them. I lock eyes with them and smile at them, too.

    Blessings to you,
    Cara

Thank you, Robin. I wrote this post to hopefully set things straight with a Christian woman I met at a speaking/book event. She blurted out in front of all the other women that "no author donates ALL the monies to a worthy cause." I was dumbfounded and felt like she personally attacked me. I am accountable for my actions to only "One" and that is what matters. Writing also helps to rid oneself of holding on to things... Thank you for the kind words.

  7. Toni, would you be so kind as to thank Vicky for her e-book? I don't have her address, sorry.
